Laje

E chegou o dia de bater a laje. Dei desculpa do pé infectado, de doença que não gravei nome e escama. Efizema. Enfisema. Eczema. Meu vô que chamou. Hoje ele já é morto. Tá enterrado lá longe, mandou fazer o próprio jazigo.

Ele escolheu a própria laje. Aquela eu também não bati, a caixa é toda de mármore e ficou no meio do cemitério.

Cemitério menor que um alqueire.

Até hoje não sei o tamanho disso, só sei porque uma vez ele falou. Laje e alqueire, tá tudo enterrado com ele. O mármore não é de carrara, vem lá da pedreira. Ele escolheu um marrom.
