Skilled Communicator

Module #1: Communication Competence

A person who is able to exchange important information through verbal communication, is the meaning of a skilled communicator. Having that in mind of selecting a skilled communicator would be my friend Emma. I think that because of these three reasons; she listen more than she speaks, knows what she is talking about and able to reads peoples body language well. These three characteristics stand out to me since she doesn’t want to dominate the discussion or presentation. When she does have a change to speak she constantly asking questions. Second, she always prepared and taking time out to have well thought out responses. By preparing herself she creates a better understand of what she is focusing on and how to explain it. Lastly, a person can say a lot by their body language. Emma says that “body communicates endlessly and is a great basis of information.” Those three characteristics are what make her a great communicator.
