14 Pages You Need in Your Medium Notebook to Improve Your Success on Medium

The pages to organise all things Medium-writing

As a huge proponent for planning with pen and paper, I had to dedicate one of my notebooks to my writing on Medium. If you were interested in doing the same I thought it would be helpful to explain the different pages I have in my Medium notebook and how I organise my time spent on Medium. This notebook will help you track your stats, organise publication submissions, and work on your goals.

Ostensibly, this all looks like a lot, but in reality, I added these pages as I went and never spend more than 5 minutes a day writing in the notebook. Not every single page will be updated daily, just as and when. Only when writing all these headlines did I realise how many there were. So obviously feel free to pick and choose but these are all really helpful for me. It serves as my little Medium bible to reference and save time. Any time spent in the notebook will pay off in terms of your Medium success and journey.

I love writing down my goals, it helps to keep you accountable and brings a lot of satisfaction when you get to tick them off. Monthly works best for me because Medium’s Partner Program works monthly and I like to include some monetary goals.

Simply write down 3–5 things you would like to achieve that month. Here is mine from June:

I have already achieved two of these and it's only the 19th. If I didn’t write down those goals I may not have stopped and appreciated my progress here. Therefore, I implore you to set targets and celebrate when you hit them, it will really lift you up on your down days and provide a sense of direction in cloudy moments.
