Is She Medicine Or Poison?

A poem

Letting her in when you’re weak,

leads you to believe she is meek.

Is she medicine?

Or is she poison?

Make sure she makes you better, not worse.

I’d hate for you to repeat the course.

God’s lessons tend to repeat,

especially when you’re in defeat.

Cycles of despair,

when you refuse to repair.

Broken hearts left behind,

including one that is mine.
